With the development of internet technology, a broad range of information is made available to local communities and individual households.  In addition to the print and multi-media resources, the Blair Public Library can expanded its scope through the use of on-line recourses such as:

Access to these databases is provided to the Blair Public Library and the Nebraska Library Commission through  funding from the State of Nebraska. Nebraska libraries may register for subscriptions purchased with Nebraska Library Commission funds as part of the statewide database program http://www.nlc.state.ne.us/nebraskaccess

A multidisciplinary, 100% full text database. It provides indexing, abstracts, and full text articles from over 1,300 magazines and journals dating back to January 1994. Subject coverage includes current events, business, education, science, the humanities, and the social sciences. Types of material indexed include feature articles, reviews, obituaries, recipes, do-it-yourself works, interviews, speeches, poems, and short stories.
