Library Meeting Room Rules    << Back  Meeting Room Policy
 
1.   Reservations for the meeting room will be taken no more than one month in advance.

2.    The meeting room will be used in accordance with approved policy.

3.    All groups are required to set up chairs and tables they need and return all tables and chairs to their proper storage when the meeting is over and before leaving the premises.

4.    Children under the age of eighteen may use the meeting room with an adult sponsor present. The sponsor will be responsible for the group’s behavior and treatment of the property.

5.    The groups’ sponsor will turn out the lights in the meeting room after the meeting.

6.    If the library has closed, the group sponsor will be responsible for turning off the lights in the restrooms, and making sure the outside door is locked.

7.    No cooking is allowed in the meeting room. Light refreshments can be served, however the sponsor is responsible for all damages to the meeting room as a result of the serving of refreshment. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

8.    The group using the room will pay for any damages to the meeting room. Unless payment is made voluntarily within a reasonable length of time, the group will not be allowed to use the room thereafter.

9.    Noise will be kept to a minimum.

10.    The Library is a smoke free building.
